Guangxi State owned Qipo Forest Farm was established in 1952, with an operating area of 681000 acres, a forest volume of approximately 3.815 million cubic meters, and a forest coverage rate of 82.1%. It is a first-class forest farm directly under the Forestry Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and a second-class public welfare institution at the department level.

During the 13th Five Year Plan period, the forest farm fully utilized ecological public welfare forests, innovatively developed the "three-dimensional economy" under the forest, adopted five methods of "sealing, modifying, planting, lifting, and upgrading", and initially formed a diversified three-dimensional management model with "chicken blood vine+" as the core content, including "upper, middle, lower, short, medium, and long".

At present, the "forest and forestry" model covers 50000 acres, and the core demonstration area for the under-story economic industry, mainly based on the "forest medicine" model, covers more than 2000 acres. More than 200 varieties of medicinal herbs have been collected, and the total economic output value of the under-story has reached 400 million yuan. Has successively won titles such as "Fifth Batch of National Forest and Grass Science Popularization Base" and "Second Batch of Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Demonstration Base". During the 14th Five Year Plan period, the forest farm plans to achieve a planting area of over 10000 acres of chicken blood vine, and can develop a planting area of approximately 89100 acres of traditional Chinese medicine in the future.
