Established in 1962, Guangxi State owned Bobai Forest Farm is located in Bobai County, Yulin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is a large-scale state-owned forest farm directly under the Forestry Bureau of the Autonomous Region. Has been awarded multiple honorary titles such as National Top 10 Forest Farms, National Key Forestry Leading Enterprise, Guangxi Modern Forestry Industry Leading Enterprise, Guangxi Excellent Forest Farm, Guangxi Zhuang Mei Forest Farm, etc. The total operating area is 750000 mu, including 480000 mu of on-site forest land and 270000 mu of off-site forest land, with a live wood storage volume of 4.06 million cubic meters.

The forest farm vigorously develops the under-story economic industry through the model of "forest mining, forest medicine, forest fishing, forest poultry, forest livestock, and forest bees", utilizing approximately 60000 acres of forest land with an output value of 1 billion yuan. Relying on the geographical advantage of Yulin City as the "Southern Medicine Capital", we have promoted the construction of a 3000 acre traditional Chinese medicine nursery base and the cultivation of 10000 acres of traditional Chinese medicine. We have completed the planting of nearly 6000 acres of regional characteristic traditional Chinese medicine such as cardamom, Yizhiren, Baibu, and Guangjinqiancao under the forest. We have established a product traceability system, applied for the "Three Products and One Label" green food certification, obtained 7 national software copyright certificates for under-story economic planting, and successfully registered 2 trademarks of "Zhuangmei Bolin" and "Qinghu Bibo". We have been rated as the third batch of traditional Chinese medicine demonstration bases in Guangxi, the first batch of under-story economic boutique demonstration bases in the autonomous region, the first batch of traditional Chinese medicine demonstration bases in Yulin City, and the third batch of "customized medicine parks" in Guangxi. We have also actively created the Guangxi Modern Characteristic Agriculture Demonstration Zone - Bobai County Zhuangmei Bolin Traditional Chinese Medicine (Spice) Industry Demonstration Zone. By the end of the 14th Five Year Plan, the area of Chinese medicinal materials planted under the forest will reach 10300 acres, with an expected output value of 191 million yuan.
