Established in 1957, Guangxi State owned Huangmian Forest Farm is a large state-owned forest farm directly under the Forestry Bureau of the Autonomous Region. Its headquarters are located in Luzhai County, Liuzhou City, spanning Guilin and Liuzhou. It mainly engages in forest cultivation, forest product processing, real estate development, ecotourism, forest health and other industries. The total operating area of the forest farm is 577100 acres, with a forest volume of 3.43 million cubic meters and a forest coverage rate of over 90%.

In recent years, forest farms have fully utilized their advantageous resources, focusing on promoting the forest medicine and tea industries, and synchronously promoting the development of models such as forestry, fruit, and animal husbandry, forming a good pattern of diversified development models advancing together. The current forest tea plantation covers an area of 900 acres, and the "Luling" time-honored brand of tea has been established for over 30 years. An area of 3173 acres of Chinese medicinal materials have been planted, including varieties such as Chicken Blood Vine, Dendrobium officinale, Golden Lotus, Green Willow, Taxus chinensis, and Tiandong. It is expected that by the end of the 14th Five Year Plan period, the total economic output value of the forest farm's under-story will reach 39.02 million yuan.
