The state-owned Daguishan Forest Farm in Guangxi was founded in 1957 and is located at the border of Guangxi, Guangdong, and Hunan provinces. It has a total operating area of over 1 million acres and a forest coverage rate of 91.2%. The forest farm adheres to the policy of "attaching equal importance to ecological construction, industrial development and improving people's livelihood", and various industries such as forest cultivation, forest product processing, and undergrowth economy have been well developed. It has successively won the titles of National Top Ten Forest Farm, National exemplary organization of Forest Fire Prevention, National Model Staff Home, Guangxi Modern Forestry Industry Leading Enterprise, Guangxi Forest Management Demonstration Forest Farm, Guangxi Health exemplary organization, and Magnificent Forest Farm.

In the future, the forest farm can develop a planting area of about 15000 acres of Chinese medicinal materials, suitable for planting varieties such as Ganoderma lucidum, Sancha Ku, Chuanxinlian, Dogji, Caoshanhu, Cinnamon, Octagon, Chicken Blood Vine, Pueraria lobata, Gardenia jasminoides, Dendrobium officinale, etc. During the 14th Five Year Plan period, forest farms will continue to cultivate and strengthen forest tourism, health, and under-story economy through diversified business models. The construction plan for the "One Field, One Product" project in the under-story economy aims to invest 30 million yuan, with the development of Ganoderma lucidum as the main variety. An additional 500 acres of under-story planting area and 1000 acres of forest medicine planting area will be added, with a total output value of 80 million yuan.
