The forest farm fully utilizes the abundant forest resources to develop the economy under the forest, builds an octagonal fragrant chicken breeding base under the octagonal forest, and strives to promote the ecological breeding of octagonal fragrant chickens to achieve production scale, product quality, and business industrialization. Currently, the annual output of octagonal fragrant chickens is over 100000. At the same time, the forest farm actively explores the development model of "forest medicine integration". At present, an area of 1600 acres of Chinese medicinal materials has been planted, and about 13000 acres of Chinese medicinal materials can be developed in the future. Suitable varieties for planting include star anise, kudzu root, jade bamboo, five finger peach, chicken bone grass, and Yizhiren.
